Accounts Software VAT Changes 2010
The standard VAT rate will be returning to 17.5% from 1st January 2010 so you will need to make changes to your accounts software. We have created a number of help sheets and made utilities available to make the changes as easy as possible.
These help sheets cover Pegasus Opera II, Pegasus Capital Gold, Pegasus CIS, IRIS Exchequer, Sage 200 Suite as well as KCPOS (and any accounts packages which link to it and ProspectSoft CRM.

Axis Security Cameras – iPhone App Photos!
Hopefully you will have seen some of the information we’ve made available and sent out about the range of Axis Network Cameras we are now supplying, but so you can see them in action we now have some pictures of the surveillance images displayed on a mobile phone to show how the system looks!
These pictures were taken from Jonny Pearson’s iPhone who has been working on the installation of the Axis Network Cameras in Hull, and simply required the download of an Axis iPhone application (around 50p) to see the live moving images on the device. The cameras in question were installed at Dennis Butler Ltd, a wholesaler of fruit and vegetables, who have purchased five Axis Network cameras to monitor their warehouses and offices.

ProspectSoft & Digital/IP Telephony – TAPI Integration
Did you know that ProspectSoft CRM can link directly to a digital telephony system, such as Avaya?
The ProspectSoft CRM solution is compliant with Microsoft's TAPI standard, so it can be integrated "out of the box" with most widely used telephony systems to manage outgoing and incoming calls. Users can automatically call companies or individuals from any customer or supplier record, while incoming caller details are displayed clearly, but unobtrusively. The system recognizes a DDI, switchboard or mobile number, or will find the closest match. The caller's details are then instantly accessible.
IRIS Exchequer – Legislation Changes 1st January 2010 – Are you compliant?
We’ve been emailing and writing about this for a while now, but we are still concerned that not everyone is ready for the legislation changes taking place on January 1st 2010 – and time is genuinely running out now to book in time for your upgrade!
The changes revolve around EC VAT (which applies if you trade in Europe) and we have produced a IRIS Exchequer V6 Upgrade Guide which talks you through what you need to do. This includes how to work out what version of Exchequer you are on as well as whether or not you’ll be affected and what your options are.
