Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2000 Professional End of Life
We would like to remind everyone currently using Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2000 Professional that the product will no longer be supported from July 2010.
Microsoft have been phasing out the Windows 2000 range since the release of Windows 2003 and will no longer provide any support or security updates for this product – giving anyone still using the product around 8 months to upgrade to one of Microsoft’s current platforms. The latest software from Microsoft is Windows 2008 Server and the latest operating system is Windows 7, which has been released recently.
